Hey girls!

Even though the last few days have been really nice, sunshine, nice temperatures, no rain... nevertheless it's still winter and temperatures might go down again and have their effect on our skin and especially our faces.

Lately when I touch my face, I don't get a smooth, silky feeling and this bothers me. At places my faces was a little flaky, for example where I had suffered from an acne 'outbreak'.

So I decided to try something out and it worked wonders!

All you need is the following:

- towel
- a cup of water
- a toothbrush (unused)
- a day cream, serum, face mask, nourishing mask

My toothbrush had hard bristles, I would suggest to buy one with medium hard bristles cause well we want to clean the face, not damage it.
If you only have a hard bristle toothbrush, don't rub too hard.

Ofcourse, start with removing your make-up completely.

After that, dip your toothbrush into the warm water and start somewhere on your face. It doesn't matter where you want to start.

Make circular movement all over your face and stick the toothbrush back into the warm water every now and then.

After you have moved all over your face and no longer see any dead skin flakes and your cheeks have a nice red glow you are ready to wash your face, to be sure you get all the icky stuff off.

After that, dry off and apply your daily face products or if you really want to pamper yourself, put on a nourishing and hydrating face mask, add two cucumber slices and just chill for 15 minutes while dreaming that you are chillaxing on the beach in some tropical paradise...
A tip: You could also use a electric toothbrush or you could of course buy the clarisonic facial cleaner but this is a little outside of my budget so i'll stick to my normal little toothbrush.
After you are finished, you will feel refreshed, the circulation in your face will have had an extra boost and your skin will look fresh and dewy and will feel silky smooth!

What do you girls think?

Hey girls!

Since it is winter and it's cold and snowy outside ( yes, even now that it's almost march!), our hair and our skin goes through hard times.

I noticed my skin was dry and could use some hydration so I decided to make my homemade face and body scrub to scrub away they dead skin cells, stimulate my blood flow and revive my skins.

It doesn't mean the weather is bleak, that your skin should be as well... and what's more pleasant than pampering yourself under a hot shower while snow is twirling down outside?

Let's start with what you'll need to prepare this scrub:

2 table spoons of fine white sugar
♥ 2 table spoons of castor sugar / brown sugar
♥ 2 table spoons of lemon juice ( or less if you like it more chunky)
♥ half a table spoon of your favorite body/hair oil
♥ a spoon
♥ a little jar or cup

Let's continue step by step:

♥ Take your little jar or cup.

♥ Add in both the white and             brown sugar .

♥ Mix well.

♥ Add a spoon of lemon juice.

♥ Mix.

♥ Add the second spoon of            lemon juice.

♥ Mix everything.

If you want the prepare this for a facial scrub: you are done!
If you have very dry skin you could put in the oil for use on your face but since I have combination to oily skin, I don't think it's a good idea for me to add in oil.

If you want a hydrating body scrub: go on with the next step!

♥ Take the oil of your choosing.
I used cactus oil cause I love     the smell of it.

♥ Add in half a table spoon.

♥ Mix everything well and voila!
            You are done!

♥ Now hop into your shower...

♥... and scrub, scrub away!

♥ Afterwards your skin will feel soft and super hydrated.

Enjoy!

Hello everyone!
I have decided to continue my blog in English since this widens my audience.

Today I wanted to share a great idea to store lipsticks, eyeshadows and other make-up goodies by using a simple and cheap item: a box to store teabags.
I had been looking for a long time for a new way to store my make-up stash. Because I have a lot of different products, I sometimes forget everything I own and end up using the same products every day.

When I saw these tea boxes, I got an idea. I whipped out my lipstick of the day and held it next to the box to realize it would fit perfectly inside.

I bought 3 boxes ( and 2 more later on), because I'm just in love with them! I have one for my single eyeshadows and pigments, one for my lipsticks and one for my blushes.

Now I use different products every day because the see-through box lets me see all the pretty thing I have at my disposal.
Another way to use this kind of box for storage is to take of the lid and just stash your goodies in there as a quick make-up organizer with those products that you use every day.
Where can I find these boxes?
I bought them in a shop called Action but I think boxes like this are available from many department stores.

Price: I paid 1,89€ per box

What do you think of this DIY? Do you have other ideas?

Hello everyone!

I'm not usually someone who uses many hair products other than shampoo, for example : I don't even use conditioner or hairspray but the product I want to share with you guys is just amazing! It blew me away!

My mother was cleaning out her bathroom cabinet when she rediscovered this product: the metamorphose relaxx total repair spray.
She had bought this product from her hairdresser but had actually never used it. So I ended up getting it (yay, free stuff!). I did not really have high expectations because as I said: I don't really use many products on my hair... until the first time i sprayed it onto my hair... wauw!

My hair immediately became super soft and my fingers just glided through my locks. My hair was instantly untangled and the product has a delicious smell.

Online I found the following description of the product:

"2-Fase haircare system for dry, permed and natural hair.
The hair becomes easy to comb and regains its softness and shine.
Shake well before use and spray onto wet or towel dry hair.
      Don't rinse. 150ml."

I usually spray this product on towel dry hair and only on the lengths of my locks and especially the ends. I never spray it onto my scalp because my hair easily starts feeling greasy and heavy.

I have been using the de metamorphose relaxx total repair spray for a few months now and I just love it! Since I have started using it, my hair looks more healthy, it feels super soft and I have more than once received compliments that my hair is so shine and healthy.

I can't say with a 100% certainty it is all thanks to this product because I have since a year I have started a completely new hair care system:
I only color my hair with natural henna, oil my hair at least once a week and try to stay away from heated tools such as hairdryers and flattening irons.
My spray is half empty, so I am already looking where to buy my new bottle.

People who struggle with broken ends or damaged hair should really try out this product. My hair ends used to be split and I always had the feeling my hair does not want to grow, but lately my hair has been growing amazingly and my end look healthy so I am a believer!

Where can I find this product?
You can ask your hairdresser about it or go to a hairdressers supply store. It's also available online on a number of webshops as are the shampoo, conditioner, etc of this range. (The bottles look pretty much identical so if you want to be sure you have the 2-fase spray, pay good attention!)

Price?
On my mother's bottle I found a price ticket with 11€ on it but I have seen it on a number of online stores with price tages of 6,50€ to 8,50€ (watch out: transportations fees will probably be added).
I think you will get a better price searching online or visiting a whole sale hairdresser supplies store than when you actually buy it from your hairdresser, even though it's definitely worth the money!

Would you guys try out this product? Do you have any other hair care products you love?
